I love your presentation! Been thinking about doing something similar. Its all ready for you to print out and give to your family and friends!
I really like the Mickey Mouse Dosa!! My grandma told me that one can make 'idly pizza' for kids, and add different veggies to it making it look like a pizza! This lady is in Tambaram India and telling me how she read this in a magazine. So cute huh!
Many thanks kanchana. To be honest, I got the mickey mouse dosa idea from a MM pancake snap, somewhere in flick or so...dont remember exactly where. And as for idli-pizza, i suppose yes, if kids are the "only fast-fud" breed, i wud get a brain wave to make idli batter, with some brown texture added to it(not yet decided how), put in lots of veggies on top, cheese too, to camouflage the whole thing, and off to steam!!!..we can tell them, its a mommy-made pizza crust, much better one, and thats y it tasted different from the on u get in pizza-hut!!!
We all get heavier as we get older because there is a lot more information in our heads. So I’m not fat, I’m just really intelligent and my head couldn’t hold any more, so it started filling up the rest of me!!!
Apart from my role as a chopper and a dish-washer, (goes back by 3 years)...my role in my Mom's kitchen was absolutely zero!!But I had all serious excuses for it.
"Mom, if ever I am to learn cooking, then I should do it from my Mother-in-Law!"
....and my very logical explanation to it is that ...."See mommie, the man that I am going to marry would have been having the food prepared by his mother, therfore wud lik them more,& so, let me better learn from her! Seriously, the whole essence of what needs to go in for what, what be cooked for how long.. were too complicated for me....I even used to feel, that I could confuse myself if I learn from two cooks....
But things didn't go as I thought it would be, coz after I got married, my job didn't give me much oppurtunity to learn things from my MIL, and even before I cud imagine, I was in Kuwait, with a hubby, a tiny-tot and just me! Ooohh my! .and that's how this scientist was born....
