- A kitchen scientist & a white rat hubby!!!
- Apart from my role as a chopper and a dish-washer, (goes back by 3 years)...my role in my Mom's kitchen was absolutely zero!!But I had all serious excuses for it. "Mom, if ever I am to learn cooking, then I should do it from my Mother-in-Law!" ....and my very logical explanation to it is that ...."See mommie,the man that I am going to marry would have been having the food prepared by his mother, therfore wud lik them more,& so, let me better learn from her! Seriously, the whole essence of what needs to go in for what, what be cooked for how long.. were too complicated for me....I even used to feel, that I could confuse myself if I learn from two cooks.... But things didn't go as I thought it would be, coz after I got married, my job didn't give me much oppurtunity to learn things from my MIL, and even before I cud imagine, I was in Kuwait, with a hubby, a tiny-tot and just me! Ooohh my! .and that's how this scientist was born....

thanks nags.!!..but honestly, i dont kave any cookboook, rather than a diary in which i note down things from the tv, cut outs from magazines..and mainly, posts from blogs..if i need to participate, i will have to go and purchase one..lol
Nice picture food blog you have here. I can use some ideas for a party too... turn otherwise ordinary food into interesting bites! :)

You seem to have whipped up a lot of great-looking dishes. Like you mentioned, my earlier posts were just pics but as time went by, I got more and more interested & the recipes just started flowing! So what started out as a space for putting up my pics ended up turning into my food blog:-)

Your todd in a hole recipe is very very good. You are very innovative & I also love the way your mickey dosa looks. Maybe I could serve it to my 34 yr old kid someday soon.
